The project Sustainable Sanitation and Hygiene for all project (SSH4A) was implemented by Caritas Nebbi with support from SNV Uganda through the DFID . To strengthen the capacity for steering and implementation of sanitation demand creation, capacity for sanitation supply chains and finance, behavioural change communication and stretherning the capacity for WASH governance

In accord with the over aching framework above, Caritas Nebbi carried out reconnaissance in Kango Sub county, Zombo District an exercise which involved seeking the buy in by the different stakeholders and collection of data about the then sanitation and hygiene practices.

By the end of the project, there was evidence of an increase in the key sanitation facilities coverage in the two parishes of Alube and Oliri. e.g, at the point of baseline, the latrine coverage in the two parishes stood at 70.5%.
