Programme Development Goal

Improved food security and livelihood for Households in Northern Uganda through improvement in Agriculture Production and Productivity and Marketing.

Objectives

  1. Increased Agriculture Production and Productivity among the small holder men and women farmers
  2. Increased market access for small holder men and women farmers
  3. Increase use of sustainable environment practices among the targeted communities
  4. Strengthen Institutional Capacity for transparent and accountable leadership in service delivery and practices

Summary

In Northern Uganda and West Nile sub region, the livelihood of farming community in terms of food and income security is still far from reaching the acceptable standard. Thus, this five years project Implemented by caritas Nebbi with support from caritas Norway. The programme targeted 4,000 Households mobilized into 140 Farmer Groups.
